Doris Rubenstein Book Signing

Richfield's award winning author Doris Rubenstein will be signing her book 'The Journey of a Dollar' at artbarn52, Tuesday Evening, November 21st. 

'The Journey of a Dollar' tells the story of how a child's donated dollar ends up helping children in another country. The story and illustrations show the dollars' journey starting in one classroom and how it travels to many locations and miles before reaching its final destination. 

Useful to explain to any pre-schooler to middle schooler how their efforts of giving "just a dollar" can make a difference in the world, the book also includes questions at the end of each chapter. This encourages participation and conversations about giving for any child, or, in a classroom discussion. ('The Journey of a Dollar' would make a fabulous gift for any child or as a possible donation to your child's school.)

Doris will be signing at this meet and greet at artbarn52 from 5:30-7PM on Tues. 11/21. artbarn52 is located at 5261 Edina Industrial Blvd. (near 100 and 494). The casual boutique style gallery is a wonderful setting to converse and enjoy some beverages and nibblers.
