Inclusion is an action; belonging is the outcome. Together, they create the foundation for individuals and teams to thrive. When people feel seen, valued and respected for who they are, they bring their best selves to work: more engaged, collaborative and innovative. Creating such a culture doesn’t happen by chance. It requires awareness, self-reflection and intentional everyday actions that create fairness and equity across all levels of an organisation from everyone who contributes to the workplace.
This interactive workshop invites participants to explore how each of us shapes an inclusive culture where people feel they belong. Through new insights, guided reflection and open dialogue, we’ll examine how identity, values, and unconscious bias influence our decisions and relationships at work.
Learning Outcomes:
- Explain what inclusion and belonging mean in the context of workplace culture.
- Identify how personal values, identity, and unconscious bias influence interactions and decision-making.
- Apply practical tools to foster inclusion and equity in everyday workplace situations.
- Reflect on their role in modelling inclusive behaviours and creating environments where everyone feels respected, valued, and connected.
- Commit to specific actions that promote belonging and strengthen team culture.
