You will learn how to make dhal, Trini style, yellow split peas are boiled and seasoned with turmeric, garlic, toasted ground cumin, and then pureed into a semi thick sauce or soup.
Chicken seasoned with green seasoning and then stewed using a Trinidad curry powder and cooked in a delicious sauce.
You will learn how to make your own green seasoning so you don't have to buy the bottled ones sold in the store with all the preservatives added, plus fresh is always better.

Cancellation policy Public Cooking Classes:If you cancel at least 8 days prior to the start of your registered class, your payment will be refunded within 7 to 10 business days. If you cancel after that , we will issue you a credit towards another class. If you cancel within 3 days of a class, NO REFUNDS or CREDIT will be given. NO EXCEPTION! If you are unable to attend, you may send someone else in your place, as we will not have enough time to fill your seat. If we cancel a class, you will get a refund within 48 hours after you submit for a refund. .
