L. A. Holts is a passionate and accomplished poet, playwright, director and creative artist who graduated in the top 10 percent of her class with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Fiction Writing. Her career has spanned more than two decades garnering significant contributions to both television, film and stage. She portrayed the character of “Stacey” on the Emmy Award winning and pioneering soap opera, The Awakening; as well as a role in “To Sir, With Love” starring Sidney Poitier. She was also a part of a core singing group in a national T-Mobile commercial entitled, “Home for the Holidays.” Her background in television, film and theatre are vast, being involved in over 30 productions and has caused her to travel extensively across the nation, not only in roles as an actress; but also in writing and directing her own projects including her signature play, “13 Women,” and a new production, “Doors.” Her projects, which are Christ centered, are presented to sold-out audiences. Currently, L.A. oversees Kingdom Citizens Ministries, a creative arts fellowship with a strong online presence, production and ministry team that travels with her in bringing her writings to television and stage. She has published four books: Trapped Inside, 13 Women, Hell Chronicles and Dance Me A Poem. Her project, 13 Women, is currently in production as a full-length movie. Presently, her ministry is under the apostolic guidance of Theresa Harvard Johnson, founder of The School of the Scribe.
