Accident Fund's Shelly Peffers and Middle Market’s Carson Forst invite you to the Total Cost of a Workers’ Compensation Claim continuing education class on October 21st as part of their fall construction kickoff and happy hour event. Please login to this virtual class individually on your own computer in order to track attendance. An invitation with the login link will be emailed to you a few days prior to the class.

The 1-hour Total Cost of a Workers’ Compensation Claim class illustrates the main factors that determine total claim costs. This class will cover a basic understanding of what experience rating is, what the experience mod factor is and how claim costs affect the experience rating calculation. Additionally, we will touch on the four workers’ compensation benefits and other components that impact the ultimate cost of a claim. The course concludes by uncovering the indirect out of pocket costs that business owners incur when a workers’ compensation injury happens.

Please note that this class is filed for continuing education credits only in the states of Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin.

A link to join the session will be sent by the day prior.
