The 1-hour Total Cost of a Workers’ Compensation Claim class illustrates the main factors that determine total claim costs. This class will cover a basic understanding of what experience rating is, what the experience mod factor is and how claim costs affect the experience rating calculation. Additionally, we will touch on the four workers’ compensation benefits and other components that impact the ultimate cost of a claim. The course concludes by uncovering the indirect out of pocket costs that business owners incur when a workers’ compensation injury happens.
