Want to bring real world connections into your educational practice? This is your chance! Document historical markers on that road trip and the process of calculating/building the deck in your back yard. Contemplate the granite in the Tahoe Basin, and the bbq you want to invite friends to. In this class you will have a chance to build direct connections between these real life experiences and the standards and skills that we teach in our schools. Participants will create real resources, lessons, and activities to incorporate real world learning into their educational practice. This class requires one in- person meeting in the spring and another in the fall.
Asynchronous and in person meetings 4:00-6:00 on June 16 and August 25
