**CLASS UPDATE**

I am pleased to announce that we will have one of America's finest speaking to this class. I'm am even more please to be able to call this guest speaker my friend and sister in arms. Master Patrol Officer with the Franklin, TN police force and Staff Sergeant in the Army, Leigh Ann Hester. Hester was the first female to receive the Silver Start for her actions in combat on March 20, 2005. She will be speaking to the class as well as spending the day on the range with us. Ladies, you don't want to miss out on this class.

You can read a little about Hester.

This class is set up for ladies only. The goal for this class is to get woman to become comfortable with their weapons. In this class we will cover A Survivor’s Mindset and conditioning yourself to use deadly force. We will discuss Cooper’s Universal Safety Rules and talk in depth about safety while carrying. We will also discuss the different options for carrying a pistol and the pros and cons of each. This will also include gear, bags, purses, etc.

Once we finish in the class room we will head out to the range for the rest of the day. On the range we will work on drawing our pistols from concealment and making well placed shots on the target. We will also be shooting from different positions and working through different scenarios. We will talk about cover and concealment and what the differences are and we will practice shooting from behind cover.

This will be a fun class as well as very informative. Our goal is to make you feel more comfortable with your pistol, but also to be effective with it. We will cover the above and much more. If you have any questions about the class, please feel free to holler at me. If you need to buy gear for the class, I highly recommend going to FirstChoice FireArms on 5th Street in Murray, KY. They can set you up with everything you will need as well as make sure what you’re getting will work the way it should. Below you will see a list of what you will need to bring to class when you come. We will take an hour lunch also. Most of the time my classes go to Hazel to eat since it’s close and fast. That being said, you are more than welcome to bring a lunch and eat in the classroom if you would like.

Thank you,

Jesse Ordunez
