Concealed Carry Training Class
Join us on October 20, 2025, at 5:30 PM at The Wild Rose for a Concealed Carry Certification Course.
Whether you need this class to obtain your permit, are seeking a refresher, or simply wish to support a great cause, this course is designed to meet and exceed Wisconsin’s requirements for applying for a concealed carry permit. All proceeds will be donated to the Crandon Police Department K9 Unit.
Course Highlights
Participants must be 21 years of age or older to apply for a permit but Anyone may attend. Instruction will include:

Firearm safety and secure storage

Identifying and handling different types of pistols

Proper loading and unloading procedures

Legal considerations and justification for the use of deadly force

Guidelines for carrying a firearm
-
Practical insights from law enforcement professionals
Instructors
The class will be taught by a certified NRA firearms instructor and a active police officer, ensuring both state-required education and valuable real-world law enforcement perspective. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of training, qualifying them to apply for a concealed carry permit in Wisconsin and many other states.
Please note: Permits cannot be issued during this class. All permits are processed and issued directly by the State of Wisconsin.

A chicken dinner will be available from The Wild Rose for $5 during the class. Additional menu items may be ordered; however, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited before and during the class. Anyone found to be under the influence will be asked to leave without a refund.

After class concludes, alcohol consumption at the bar is permitted.
