Community Impact Day is an exciting new initiative created for Montclair State University faculty, staff, and community partners. The Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships and the Office of Inclusive Excellence have joined forces to expand the University’s service impact through an inclusive day of collective action.
Community Impact Day is our university-wide day of service and reflection. It connects faculty and staff with community-based organizations and invites employees to consider the relationship among our students, service, belonging, and institutional mission.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to choose from various service sites, both on and off campus, and engage in community service projects such as:

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can only sign up for one service site due to each project running simultaneously. We will email you after registration if other information is needed for your site.
Cancellation policy Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not able to attend so that your slot may be given to someone else. Duplicate registrations are not allowed. If your name has multiple tickets, they will be canceled. volunteer@montclair.edu

The Volunteer Center and The Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships work together to coordinate Montclair State University's Days of Service. During these days, we bring awareness and recognition to public figures who have led communities in the act of service. In participating in national days of service, we at Montclair hope to continue to bring awareness to the act of service and the impact it can do.
