For this session of the Virtual Code Club we will be covering an Introduction to Computer Science series. The Intro to CS series was developed to teach new coders how to develop software from the ground up. In the Introduction to Computer Science I course, students are introduced to programming through the Microsoft Makecode block editor. They will be able to create their own games, while learning basic concepts like creating variables, responding to events along with using iterations to simplify and extend their projects. They will learn to develop their own game through weekly tasks that guide them through the process of turning basic ideas into full-fledged games.
