For the last 50 years, Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary has prepared men for the office of the holy ministry and provided general theological education to lay men and women. Begun in 1976 as an extension site of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN, it moved from Resurrection Lutheran Church onto the campus of Brock University in 1983.

Speakers

Dr. Jon S. Bruss joined the faculty of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW) as Associate Professor of Systematic Theology in 2022, teaching courses including Confessions, Dogmatics, and Greek Readings. In May 2024, he was elected to serve as the seventeenth president of CTSFW.

Dr. Thomas J. Egger is president of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He also is a professor of Exegetical Theology. Egger, a faculty member since 2005, was inaugurated as the 11th president of Concordia Seminary in 2021. He previously served as the Gustav and Sophie Butterbach Professor of Exegetical Theology, associate professor of Exegetical Theology, the chairman of the department of Exegetical Theology and the academic adviser for first-year students.

The Rev. Dr. Lawrence R. Rast Jr. serves as Professor of American Christianity and American Lutheranism at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. From 2011–2024 he served as the sixteenth president of CTSFW. Dr. Rast joined the Department of Historical Theology in the fall of 1996.

Thomas Winger is the president of Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, St. Catharines, Ontario. He is the author of the Concordia Commentary on Ephesians (2015), Lutheranism 101: Worship (2017), and a contributor to The Lutheran Study Bible (2009) and Lutheran Service Book: Companion to the Services (2022). He was a member of the liturgy committee of LSB. He was pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, St. Catharines (1993–99), Tutor at Westfield House, Cambridge (1999-2006),  a professor at CLTS since 2006 and its president since 2012.

The District President is a partner in the Mission and Ministry of the Member congregations of the Mid-South District.  He coordinates all the resources of the District for Congregation Health, School and Early Childhood Center enrichment, and for all Professional Church workers, as well as, coordinates the Lay Ministry Associates (formerly Licensed Lay Deacon Program). He serves as a liaison between the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and the District. He provides mechanisms for communications to all workers and congregations, and provides opportunities for professional growth and congregational well-being. He provides resources and consultation to congregations and schools for strategic planning and filling vacancies with the most qualified candidates in professional ministry.

A. Trevor Sutton is Senior Pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Lansing, Michigan and teaches theology at Concordia University - Irvine, California. Sutton is coauthor of Redeeming Technology, Authentic Christianity, and author of Clearly Christian and Being Lutheran. He teaches, writes, and speaks frequently about technology and the church in a digital age. Sutton received his Ph.D. and M.Div. from Concordia Seminary and an M.A. in digital rhetoric from Michigan State University.
