Do you want to extract geographic information from texts? This workshop will introduce the latest methods in geographic text analysis (GTA) including identifying the relationship between topics and geographic information. You will learn how to use Mordecai, a Python library for full text geoparsing. The workshop assumes some familiarity with Python and natural language processing, but those who are new to GTA are very welcome.
