Itinerary :-
Leaving Braveheartβs 6am and setting of for the amazing Scottish highlands with the first stop being a circular walk of the signal rock πͺ¨ where according to legend the signal was given to begin the Glencoe Massacre??
Steall Fallβs & the Nevis gorge,One of the best short walks in Scotland, this route heads through the dramatic and beautiful Nevis Gorge and leads to the awesome Steall Falls.
From there we will continue north & visit Neptuneβs staircase, This amazing feat of engineering raises the canal by 19m (62ft) over a quarter of a mile of continuous masonry and takes around 90 minutes for a boat to travel up or down the locks. Built by Thomas Telford between 1803 and 1822, it is the longest staircase lock in Scotland. An ideal location for enjoy βgongoozlingβ the boats as they travel up and down the lock flight!
Next up will be to catch the famous Jacobite steam train, Described as the greatest railway journey in the world, this 84 mile round trip departs from Fort William to Mallaig
Final stop will be the Corpach shipwreck,One of Fort Williamβs best-kept secrets is the Corpach Shipwreck. An old fishing boat that has washed up on the shore where Loch Linnhe meets Loch Eil
Now itβs time to head to the best Bothy for our overnight
