Certified Data Center professional (CDCP) Virtual Instructor Led Training 

The CDCP is a two-day course designed to expose participants to the key components of the data center. The courses are recommended for anyone doing business as or with a data center.  The content of these courses will enhance your baseline knowledge of your industry and help you no matter what your role in your organization.   Colocation Sales, IT, Operations, Consultants, Commercial Real Estate, Agents, Manufacturers Reps, Private Equity, and analysts have all benefited from this curriculum.  The CDCP Accreditation will help teams gain a broad overview of the key aspects of mission critical infrastructure inside a data center- power, cooing, security, cabling, safety, telecommunications, best practices, location, building and construction and much more…. 

After completion of the course the participant will be able to: 

·       Choose and understand an optimum site for a mission critical data center site and why.

·       Describe all components that are important for high- availability in a data center and how to effectively setup the data center.

·       Name and apply the various industry standards. 

·       Describe the various technologies for UPS, fire suppression, cooling, monitoring systems, cabling standards, etc, and to select and apply them effectively to cost-efficiently enhance the high-availability of the data center.

·       Review and understand the electrical distribution system.  

·       Review and understand the different network topologies used in data centers today.

·       Understand cooling capabilities and efficiency in the data center.   Be familiar with existing and new techniques and technologies for the increased cooling requirements of the future.

·       Understand highly reliable and scalable network architecture and learn how to ensure installers apply proper testing techniques 

·       Describe (high-level) data center operational considerations supporting mission-critical environments 

·       Understand effective data center monitoring.

·       Understand the importance of security measures, both procedural and technical.  

 

·       Accreditation exam immediately following the course.
