Become a Certified Authority on Workers’ Compensation!
AF Group, in collaboration with The University of Olivet, offers the Certified Authority on Workers’ Compensation (CAWC) designation for insurance professionals. The program covers core components of workers’ compensation, helping participants build expertise, confidence and industry connections to strengthen their book of business.
Daily Schedule
Approximately 16 hours of class over two days:
- 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET (12 to 1 p.m. lunch break - lunch included)

- Experience rating and classifications
- Loss control
- Return to work
- Alternative programs and USL&H
Cost
Exam and Certification
- Online proctored final exam within 48 hours of class completion
- Score of 70% or higher required for certification
- Recertification every two years: $200 fee plus 10 continuing education (CE) credit hours
- Three hours of AF Group insurance ethics training
- Seven hours of workers’ compensation or commercial insurance learning

*This class is filed for CE credits only in: Michigan, Indiana and Illinois.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancel within four days of registration: full refund
- Cancel five or more days after registration: 50% refund
