BANT events are focused upon equipping Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine practitioners with new science-based knowledge and insights on dedicated topics, together with the confidence to apply these within their clinical practice. All nutrition and lifestyle medicine practitioners are welcomed.

Speakers

Dr. Rippe is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School with post graduate training at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

He is currently the Founder/Director of Rippe Lifestyle Institute and Professor of Medicine at the UMass Chan School of Medicine.

Over the last 30 years Dr. Rippe has established and run the largest research organization in the world exploring how daily habits and actions impact short and long term health and quality of life. This organization, Rippe Lifestyle Institute (RLI), has published hundreds of papers that form the scientific basis for the fields of lifestyle medicine risk factor reduction and high-performance health.  RLI also conducts numerous studies on physical activity, nutrition and healthy weight management. 

Dr. Rippe has written over 500 academic papers and abstracts and written or edited 62 books including 35 for healthcare professionals and 27 for the general public.

Natalie Burrows is a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Clinic Director of Integral Wellness, an evidence-based personalised nutrition clinic specialising in cardiometabolic health.

Motivated by both professional expertise and a personal predisposition to type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, Natalie brings deep empathy to her work.

Having experienced poor metabolic health during her corporate career, she understands how nutrition, sleep, stress, and lifestyle shape long-term risk.

Natalie supports clients using cardiometabolic medications, including GLP-1 therapies, while also helping many reduce medication reliance and, where appropriate, place metabolic diagnoses into remission through sustainable, whole-person strategies.
