Due to the recent decision to unpeg and float the Egyptian pound from the US Dollar, we have adjusted our conference rates. We are only able to do this due to the support from our conference organizers and partners. We hope to see you at the conference!
November 18 – Day One :: CONFERENCE
Our agenda will start early in the morning so we would anticipate that most people arrive the day before. We are arranging for airport meet and assist and transfer to the hotel – likely the Ritz or Intercontinental. Our event is being held at the American University Cairo’s Tahrir Square campus which is a short walk/ride from either hotel. Each presentation during the day will be a minimum 50 minute presentation with a 10 minute Q&A in order to satisfy AIA’s Continuing Education requirements.

2. November 19 – Day Two :: TOURING CAIRO
FULL DAY
§ Exclusive visit to the Egyptian Museum pre working hour from 07 to 09 AM including visit to the mummy section..
§ Ibn Tulun Mosque & Gayer Anderson house
§ Khan Bazar visit including Bayt al Shaymi, Qalawun complex, one of the madrassa, al hakim mosque
§ Late Lunch /early dinner at Naguib Mahfouz Restaurant at the Khan Bazar.
3. November 20 – Day Three :: TOURING OLD CAIRO
FULL DAY
§ Coptic Cairo including hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, St. Sergius Church and the Coptic Museum
§ Lunch at the Al Azhar Park
§ New GEM Grand Egyptian Museum visit
§ Giza Plateau – Pyramids and Sphinx with an exclusive visit to Paws of Sphinx

Meet & assist at Arrival/departure
Cost per independent passenger: US$ 50.00
· Speedy clearance through all arrival and departure formalities.
· At arrival you will be met by a dedicated Cairo Airport Terminal Representative (CATR) once reaching the arrival terminal and escorted through the airport until after customs.
· During departure you will be met by a CATR who will escort you through all formalities until after immigration.
Visa per passenger US$ 25.00
· Tourist Visa to Egypt (1-month validity).
· Complete pre-purchase of visa stamps prior to arrival of guest.
· Entry visa service is applicable according to visa regulations for different nationalities.

AIA have obtained preferred rates at both the Ritz Carlton and Intercontinental Hotels, both walking distance to the AUC Tahrir Square Campus.

Our rate will be US$ 223.00 per room “Single or double occupancy” per night on Bed & Breakfast basis
Above Rates are:
- Quoted in US dollars.
- Based on standard room per night, for Single or Double occupancy all-inclusive of taxes and service charges
- Inclusive of buffet Breakfast in the above stated rates per person, per day at the main restaurant.
- Nile View sup. US$ 40.00 per room per night
