The 4-hour deaf sensitivity training class, I Never Gave THAT a Thought! is hosted by HIDTA in partnership with the Wake-Tech Public Safety Campus (police academy) in Raleigh, NC. HIDTA is a federal program under the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
To reiterate, the date and time is Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 1100 hours to 1500 hours, Eastern Time. HIDTA will issue class completion certificates to participants who complete the class.
*NO COST TO SWORN Georgia, North Carolina & South Carolina PUBLIC SAFETY & COMMUNICATIONS STAFF (including DISPATCH PERSONNEL).
For sworn law enforcement personnel, please go to the HIDTA website to register at https://www.achidta.org, and click on the top where it shows TRAINING.

IF YOU HAVE NOT received an invitation to take the Deaf sensitivity training class from HIDTA or the Wake Tech Public Safety Campus, you may still register on this site for the class being held at the same date and time. The per person fee is $125.00. Back out and click on the class for the same date and starting time.
