Thinking about getting into rotational grazing? Wanting to up your rotational grazing game? Come on out to the Bruce County Rotational Grazing Field Day!
The day starts with producer Peter Kotzeff talking about how he strip grazes corn and why it might be something for you to consider adding to your grazing system. He'll also talk about water system infrastructure and Amadou Thiam from OMAFA will be present to discuss designing a water system from scratch and things that need to be taken into consideration.
In the afternoon we'll travel to the Bruce Community Pasture for lunch and to learn more about the projects they've been working on as part of the Community Pastures Initiative. Find out how they're intensifying their rotational grazing system and what considerations have gone into their grazing plan.
Where: Keady and Tiverton in Bruce County. Exact addresses will be sent two days before the event.
When: Saturday, October 17th, 10am to 3pm
This is a free event, open to anyone, but registration is required.
