On September 8 at 7:30 p.m., LFA will host a launch and discussion of the Armenian translation of Elvio Manganaro’s book “][][][][][][”. Translator and editor: Ruzanna Meliksetyan. Publisher: Actual Art Publishing House.

Elvio Manganaro (1976), Ph.D. in architectural composition, is associate professor in architectural and urban design at the ABC Department of the Politecnico di Milano. 

This small book is a collection of some drawings and objects of a textual order. The focus of these experiments is not the language of architecture but architecture as an object of language. Although they use the categories of drawing, model, educational exercise, as well as design, their goal is of a speculative nature: they question the textual availability of architecture by employing the practice of asemic writing and concrete poetry as an investigative tool.
