This series will focus on reading and working through The Racial Healing Handbook. We will read one chapter for each meeting. You are responsible for reading and completing the reflection questions for each chapter. Home Forward will purchase the workbook for you. Participation is expected for all sessions in the series.
Format: These sessions will be facilitated. Throughout the series, we will facilitate conversations both in a large group and in smaller caucus groups.
These smaller groups are:
- Community, connection and healing space for Black, brown and indigenous participants and participants of color
- Learning space for white participants
Facilitators: Kitty Miller and Tara Messier
Session Dates: November 9 and 30, December 21, January 18, February 8 and 22, March 15 and 29, April 19, May 10 . When you sig up, you are enrolling for all dates. All sessions are from 9-10:30 AM
Note: Participation is expected for all sessions in the series. Please consult with your supervisor prior to signing up for this class. Because this is a series, the class will be added to your calendar with the meeting link after registration.
