Event Information

Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM CDT

Church at Stone River, 3014, Decatur, AL, 35603, United States.

Life Palette Studios presents: Come experience the joy of painting at The Church at Stone River. (3014 Danville Rd SW) in DECATUR. No experience is required. Come learn the wet-on-wet oil painting technique, made popular by Bob Ross ®, from a Certified Bob Ross Instructor.

Take home a completed painting. The $100 class fee (Cash Only, exact change, no coins) will be collected at the start of class. The class fee includes ALL materials and supplies EXCEPT the canvas.  Please bring a 16x20 inch stretch canvas with you to class. Class starts promptly at 9:00 am (please arrive 5 mins early) and finishes at 3:30 pm.  We will take a 30 min break for lunch (i.e. to allow you to take a quick run to a fast food place, if you want.)

This is a STANDARD adult class, students must be at least 16 years old. However, younger students have done well in class when they had a parent in class, painting and assisting/encouraging them. Thus students as young as 11 years old are allowed, but a parent MUST also paint (thus paying for two seats).

NOTE: THIS class has a required minimum number (4) of students to be held. If the minimum number is not met by two days before class (i.e. by Thurs), the class will be cancelled and students notified via email. In addition, the class will be cancelled the day of class, if the minimum number of students fail to actually show up/pay.

Please register ONLINE (For info, call 256-509-1161).
