Staff from the National Blood Authority are coming to the Townsville Hospital to conduct go-live training sessions for users of the BloodSTAR system, which is scheduled to roll out in Queensland on 22 August 2016. BloodSTAR is a new online system that will facilitate authorisations, dispensing and reviews of immunoglobulin products such as IVIg and SCIg. If you plan on using the system and want to know how it works and/or have questions on the system please come along.
This session is specific to prescibers of IVIg and SCIg products and will focus on how authorisation requests are managed in BloodSTAR.
