Staff from the National Blood Authority are coming to St. Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital to conduct go-live training sessions for users of the BloodSTAR system, which is scheduled to roll out in Queensland on 22 August 2016. BloodSTAR is a new online system that will facilitate authorisations, reviews, and dispensing of immunoglobulin products such as IVIg and SCIg. If you plan on using the system and want to know how it works, and/or have questions about the system please join us.

This session is specific to nurses and doctors who precribe and/or manage patients receiving IVIg and SCIg products and will focus on how authorisation requests are managed in BloodSTAR.
