The US–Ghana Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Ghana Host City Activation – “The Black Star Experience” during the FIFA World Cup in Philadelphia—a dynamic celebration of sports, culture, business, and international partnership designed to welcome the Ghana National Team, Ghanaian visitors, diaspora communities, and global supporters to the City of Brotherly Love. Anchored by a vibrant Ghana Host Village, the multi-day activation will feature cultural exhibitions, live entertainment, Ghanaian cuisine, business networking events, youth engagement activities, tourism showcases, and official meet-and-greet receptions. The initiative will transform Philadelphia into a premier destination for African cultural diplomacy and global engagement during one of the world’s most watched sporting events.
Beyond the celebration, the activation represents a strategic economic and tourism initiative aimed at building long-term commercial relationships between Ghana and Philadelphia. Through curated business roundtables, investment forums, hospitality partnerships, and diaspora engagement activities, the program will introduce Ghanaian businesses and international visitors to Philadelphia’s thriving economy, educational institutions, tourism assets, and innovation ecosystem.
