Bb Basics (Sept 6 - 26)
Participants will learn the basic components essential for performing successfully in Blackboard. Such topics as layout, personalizing your course, means of communication with students, managing the Grade Center and many more are addressed in this training. Participants work online at their own pace for a duration of three weeks (approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours/week.) This course is available to all NGU faculty, faculty assistants and staff.
Bb Advanced (Oct 4-24)
By invitation only for those who have completed Bb Basics. Go beyond the basics of Blackboard to explore the foundations of building a course and learn how to use interactive tools to enhance course assignments. This course will go deeper into the Blackboard Grade Center and reporting. Participants work online at their own pace for a duration of three weeks (approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours/week.) This course is available to all faculty, faculty assistants and staff who have completed Bb Basics. At the completion of this course, the participant will earn the NGU Blackboard Certificate.
NOTE: If you passed the Blackboard Basic course in the past, but did not complete the Advanced course, please email pmercier@ngu.edu to be signed up for the Advanced course since it is by invitation only.
