Step into a realm of elegance and refinement as we celebrate the remarkable 94th year of our own beloved Bishop Dennis B Evans, Jr! Inspired by the grandeur of the Regency era, this opulent banquet will be resplendent in lavish decor with intricate floral arrangements and plush candelabra.
We aim to capture the essence of a Bridgerton-style celebration with a touch of elegance and sophistication. So don your finest attire, dust off your gloves, and be ready to be swept away into a remarkable celebration on October 26, 2024 at 5p at the Brookside Banquet Hall!

Attendees consists of the Refuge Christian Center COGIC family, a host of the Bishop's family and friends, and members of the Southern California Evangelistic Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction (SCEEJ).
The dress code is not forced. However, it is highly-recommemded.
The colors are dusty blue, Ivory, gold, black, crimsom red/purple.

The Bishop's Aide President gives the WELCOME and introduction of the celebrant and brief overview of the program.
Friends, family, and community members share within 20 minutes brief testimonials about Bishop's impact on their lives.
The musician does a 15 minute musical tribute.
Bishop refects on his life, ministry, and legacy. He is asked to offer words of wisdom and advice to the younger generation.
Bishop blows out candles and cuts a custom-made cake. He enjoys, cake, good music, refreshments, and fellowship with attendees.
Attendees take group photos in a photo exhibition with the Bishop. The celebration is closed out with someone giving a heartfelt Benediction thanking God for Bishop's life and legacy.
