Foundations Course (Completed Prior to 3 Day in Person)

Developmental Trauma Theory and Practical Exercises

The purpose of the Foundations Course and its homework (8 assignments total) is to give you a grounding in the theoretical understanding of the basics of developmental trauma that can be done at your own pace. This extensive pre-course requires on average 9-10 hours of time, 7 hours of video viewing and 1-2 hour our assignment completion prior to your 3 day in person training. The precourse homework will give you an opportunity to try out some of the activities you can facilitate with future DT clients to increase DT activation access, and also give you personal activation access to practice with during the practicums in the live portion of the training. This is an intense dive into assessment and activation access that can require supportive discussions with others and bsp focused followup.

You will receive directions on how to access the pre-course once you have completed your registration for the in-person workshop. Please note that completion of the pre-course is required for attendance at the live event.
