We have managed to book the CIC Mountain Bothy Hut to stay in for an overnight on Saturday 27th November. This is not like a normal bothy where anyone can stay. It's usually used by Mountain Rescue and other outdoors organisations so we are priveleged to be allowed use. Located at the base of the North Face of Ben Nevis, it is roughly a 2 hour walk in (maybe more depending on how much booze you try to carry) and those who did the CMD route on Ben Nevis will have seen it before.
The hut has a fully equipped kitchen, drying room and dormitory style bunk beds. You'll need to bring a sleeping bag/camping pillow.
There is 22 spaces available at £35pp so be quick to secure your space...this sold out quick when we did the trip a few years ago.
