#BeatTheMyth: We are going to arrange and conduct a game show in Rangpur Model College and this game will seek to eradicate the myths and misconception that people have when it comes to rape. In our society there is a tendency to blame the rape victims for being vulnerable to this heinous crime, our game show #BeatTheMyth will seek to locate these myths and misconceptions regarding rape in the students and activists of Rangpur and will look to eradicate these misconceptions from them and empower them to stand against rape. There will be a maze-like design in the college field with some specific stoppage points, each with a question on it. Those who will successfully complete the game, will be called #BeatTheMyth champions and recognized by Youth For Change Bangladesh through social media.

Youth For Change Bangladesh

Youth For Change is a global youth-led coalition of youth activists working in partnership with organizations and governments to create positive change in society. We launched in 2014 and currently have youth teams based in Bangladesh, UK & Tanzania. We believe young people have unique insights, experiences and recommendations that can make decision making more effective. Our mission is to ensure young people are influencing policy decisions that affect their lives. From this aspiration the Youth for Change Bangladesh decided to collaborate with other youth led organizations/young people/adult led organizations to build a coalition where the young people will get a safe space to express themselves, take some decisions, design their own campaigns and contribute to the society jointly. Till now Youth For Change Bangladesh has collaboratively organised campaigns and outreach sessions on Gender and Child Marriage Restraint Act in several districts of Bangladesh. The activities of Youth For Change Bangladesh has helped them to achieve awards and mentions from UN, Royal Commonwealth Society and Girls Not Brides.
