Badger 007 Match

The next Badger IDPA match is coming up Saturday, August 20th, 2016. The match is being held at Schultz Gun Club in Muskego. Directions can be found on our web site at http://www.badgeridpa.com/ 
 
 
Match fee is $16 for Badger IDPA members, $21 for non-members and $10 for staff for those pre-registered.
 
Setup and range preparation will start at 7:30 am. Registration will begin at 8:00 am. The Safety Briefing will be at 9:45 am and shooting will start promptly at 10 am. 
 
You MUST attend the safety meeting to be able to shoot. If you arrive late and miss the safety meeting you will not be able to shoot. Also, eye and ear protection are required for everyone who goes out into the range regardless if you are shooting or just observing.
 
COURSES OF FIRE
There will be 5-7 stages. Match round count is about 75-120. A concealment garment is required for all stages. 
 
NEW SHOOTERS

Effective June 1st, the New Shooter Briefing is mandatory for all shooters without a current national IDPA membership, or if you have not shot an IDPA match previously. We will re-arrange the pre-match schedule to hold the New Shooter Briefing prior to the standard Safety Briefing and plan to modify the content of the New Shooter Briefing to highlight safety. If a shooter without a current IDPA membership number does not attend the New Shooter Briefing they will not be allowed to participate in the match. As always, all shooters must also attend the standard Safety Briefing in order to participate in the match.

Of course the New Shooter Briefing is always open to anyone looking for a refresher, as well as any observers wanting to learn more about our sport.

The new shooter breifing will be held at 9:15.  

 
SAFETY OFFICERS
We plan on 5-7 squads, and we will need at least 2 people per squad to act as Safety Officers. SOs will also be responsible for the stage set up. If you can arrive early and help with set up, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can SO or help email esendele@yahoo.com or post to the match event in the club's Facebook group.
