Chris Bird, EA and CFP, has visited Arizona in December more than a dozen times in the past 20 years to provide Arizona tax professionals with an in-depth review of Federal tax law and analysis of new tax legislation. Chris is a former IRS agent with 16 years of experience in the Service. He has an exceptional command and understanding of tax law and IRS practices and procedures. And Chris presents the challenging material in a way that is comprehensible. He is a dynamic speaker who not only holds your attention, but also mixes insight with humorous anecdotes.
Chris Bird is returning to Phoenix this year for a two-day tax seminar, generating 16 hours of CPE. He will be here on December 15 & 16, at the Desert Willow Conference Center. Last year, more than 90 people filled the conference room at Desert Willow. This year, we are returning to the same venue, but also offering live transmission to virtual attendees.
Over the two days, Chris will cover the following areas:
- New Legislation (3 hours)
- Ethics (2 hours)
- Federal Tax Law (11 hours)
Topics in the Federal Tax Law section will include the following:
- Business entities; Business tax issues; Installment sales.
