Professor Namsoon Kang, Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University

Dr. Namsoon Kang is Professor of Theology and Religion at Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University. She has also taught at the University of Cambridge and Methodist Theological University in South Korea.

A sought-after speaker, she has delivered lectures and keynote addresses across Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Pacific. Deeply engaged in ecumenical work, she served as a plenary speaker at the World Council of Churches' 9th Assembly in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Dr Kang teaches, researches, and writes in both English and Korean from transdisciplinary and justice-centred perspectives. Her work explores cosmopolitanism, postcolonialism, feminism, Derridean thought, and the intersections of theology and global ethics.
