Learn when Autotransplantation is useful and when to refer (extraction of a tooth and re-implantation to a new site in the mouth):

General dentists and Pedodontists would screen for patients, refer to specialists as necessary, and complete any restorative work necessary on the transplanted tooth.

Orthodontists and Dental surgeons would be the primary executors of the initial phase of treatment. 

Endodontic therapy would be necessary in adult cases.

She is Board Certified, produces a quarterly newsletter for the dentists of Snohomish County, and leads/co-leads 2 Spear Study Clubs. She did her training in autotransplantation with Dr. Barendregt in Rotterdam in 2016. She opened her private practice in Everett, WA in 2007.

Dr. Barendregt obtained his DDS in 1988, performed Naval Dentistry, and completed his MS in Periodontics at the University of Amsterdam in 1991, receiving his PhD in 2009. In 1996 he founded ParoRotterdam Periodontics clinic in Rotterdam, and cofounded the ENDO (endodontic) and PRO (prosthodontic) clinics. He trained at the University of Gent on autotransplantation in 2002 and now performs transplantations on a weekly basis. He lectures internationally and teaches at the University of Amsterdam.
