DESCRIPTION:Study the Axis Syllabus with certified teacher Kathleen Rea. Data on flexibility, strength, alignment, injuries, and movement practices will be explored. Think of it as a use guide to the body that empower you to make good choices about your body movement. All levels and those wiht disabilities are welcome.
ACCESS: wheelchair accessible.
COST:$100 - $200 (sliding scale)

DATES AND TIMES: Aug 28 to 30, 2024Friday 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday 10 am to 12 noon and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday 10 am to 12 noon and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Yes plenty of time inbuilt to enjoy swimming, campfires, hiking, and social time Please note times may vary by one hour as we adjust to Unicamp s schedule. TEACHER BIOGRAPHY:Kathleen Rea danced with Canada's Ballet Jorgen, National Ballet of Canada & Tiroler Landestheater (Austria). She is a certified teacher of the Axis Syllabus and teaches dance at George Brown Dance and Centennial College Acting program. She has choreographed over 40 dance works which have been nominated for 7 DORAs. She is the director of REAson d’etre dance productions which runs programming (jams, classes, films, festivals and productions) based upon the Contact Improvisation and the Axis Syllabus. She has Autism and brings a neurodiversity perspective into all her work.
