This event is for students and educators interested in observing US Army drone operators compete in a series of competitions to determine the best Army Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) Operators and Teams.
The event will feature several exciting components, including:
- A best operator competition in which soldiers will race against each other using First Person Drones;
- A best team competition in which soldiers will complete a tactical scenario;
- A best innovation competition, where soldiers who have built their own drones will compete in a "Shark Tank"-style competition.
- Additionally, multiple UAS vendors will showcase their systems.
The competition on the range will take place in the morning, and food trucks will be available on-site. Due to limited parking, all participants and spectators will take the shuttle bus to and from the Marriott, located next to the Space and Rocket Center. Attendees are also welcome to visit the vendor exhibit area inside the Marriott before or after returning from the range.
Due to security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible to attend.
