Catrin Evans- NHS Education for Scotland Nursing and Midwifery Practice Educator based in NHS Highland. Kathleen Evans- Trainee ANP, NHS Highland. Mark Smith- ANP lead, Raigmore Hospital, NHS Highland. The session will give an overview of the work currently being taken forward by NHS Highland ANPs and trainees to use Turas Professional Portfolio to document their development and refresh NHS Highland’s competency framework and training toolkit.
Hayley Duncan- Crisis Nurse at Braeside Crisis Service in Inverness. Siofradh McKinney- Mental Health Assessment Team based at New Craigs Hospital. This session will give an overview of our services, our operational policy and referral process. We will distinguish between chronic and acute suicide risk, offer some advice for managing crisis situations and advise of other options and services available in the area.
Murray Graham- ANP Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit , Raigmore Hospital, NHS Highland. The session will provide an introduction to CXR interpretation.
Nicola Pratt- Trainee Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner, NHS Grampian. Alison Moggach- Advanced Nurse Practitioner/ ANP Fellow, NHS Grampian. Small presentation on importance of PEWS and the sepsis 6 recognition and treatment tool that is used in RACH ECU. Workshop using a breakout games theme to show the recognition tool in use.

You will have the opportunity to attend a maximum of two breakout sessions, when you have made your choices you should book tickets for each of your preferred sessions (please note booking closes on Wednesday 28th august at 1:00pm).
You will not be able to choose your breakout sessions on the day and if you do not pre-book tickets you will be randomly selected breakout sessions in advance. To gain access to breakout rooms/sessions you will be required to show your ticket which will be provided in your delegate pack on the day.
Attendance at the event is free and includes lunch and refreshments.
Registration at the event is open from 09:15am with the main conference starting at 09:55am in the Auditorium.
