This experience will be led by the ADHSHL Director of Officials and other officiating staff, including former ADHSHL players:

Student-Athletes are asked to arrive at Great Park Ice, Five Point Arena at approximately 1:30 pm on August 10, 2024. There you will sign-in outside of Five Point Arena, drop off your gear in locker room 5V, at Five Point Arena then proceed to the classroom at the far end of Rink 1.
Please make sure to bring the following equipment:
If you have officials gear, you may bring and use it.
Helmet with face protection.
Hockey pants down (shin guards, etc.)
Home jersey
*Electronic whistles will be provided for your use*
Introductory officiating topics will be covered in the classroom beginning at 2pm for approximately one hour to an hour and a half. Once that is complete, all student-athletes will dress for a 30-minute on-ice session Starting at 4PM.
The Officials game at Five Point Arena will start at 4:30 pm. All student-athletes will have the opportunity to execute the referee and linesman positions throughout the game multiple times and will have on-ice “shadows” mentoring the student-athletes. At the conclusion of the event, we will ask if anyone wants to become an official.
