Allegheny County PT Correctional Officer Written Exam

The Allegheny County Jail is testing for the position of Part-Time Correctional Officer. As an eligible candidate, you are required to choose a test date/time. The examination is designed to measure some of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of the Correctional Officer position. Content areas include:

• learning, retaining and applying information

• observing and remembering details

• following written directions

• verbal and reading comprehension

• problem solving and situational judgement

   

  Applicants who pass the written examination will take the Physical Agility Exam on Tuesday, October 9,2018.

   There is free parking provided at Kane Regional Center - Glen Hazel.  if you choose to drive, PLEASE PARK IN THE BACK LOT.
