About our speaker: Andrew Douglas, PhD, is Senior Director of Bryn Mawr Film Institute. Dr. Douglas' extensive background includes working as a film critic, teaching Film History, Film Criticism and other subjects at UNC and Northwestern, and as a speaker at Bryn Mawr College, Penn State, Johns Hopkins, and other colleges and institutions. His favorite films are those of Alfred Hitchcock, David Mamet, and Michael Mann.
