AI-Native Value Architect: AI initiatives with measurable business value

Many AI initiatives get stuck after the initial proof of concept. There is a lack of a role responsible for the economic value contribution of AI and for guiding solutions all the way through to productive deployment. This is exactly where the AI-Native Value Architect comes in. This two-day certification qualifies you to manage AI projects from concept to a scaled solution with measurable business value.

Why AI Initiatives Rarely Create Value Without a Value Architect.

AI prototypes are developed quickly these days, but they rarely make the leap to production. Without clear accountability for business value, promising ideas get bogged down between business units, technical teams, and leadership. The AI-Native Value Architect bridges this gap and makes the value contribution of AI transparent.

What the AI-Native Value Architect Does in an Agile Release Train

This role bridges business objectives with technical implementation and supports AI solutions from the initial use case through to scaled deployment. It requires business acumen without being a business owner and AI expertise without actually developing the solutions. The focus is on the measurable, sustainable business value of AI within the AI-Native SAFe context.

Your responsibilities as a Value Architect at a glance.

As an AI-Native Value Architect, you will assume key responsibilities throughout the entire AI lifecycle:

  • Advising teams on the responsible use of AI
  • Make better use of existing AI tools
  • Bridging Business Requirements and Technical Implementation
  • Identify and Mitigate Risks Early
  • Measuring Success and Value Contribution Based on Data

Learning goals

After the two-day certification course, you will be able to confidently manage AI initiatives throughout the entire solution lifecycle. Specifically, you will be able to:

  • to evaluate the business value of AI projects based on data and to present this value convincingly to management
  • To support AI solutions from the initial idea through to scaled, production-ready deployment
  • Assess feasibility and risks early on and evaluate technical considerations, such as RAG versus fine-tuning
  • to create a cross-functional, coordinated AI-Native Value Blueprint
  • to facilitate collaboration between leadership, technical teams, and users in a targeted manner
  • to make better use of existing AI tools in a systematic way

Certification

After the training, participants can take an exam and then receive the AI Native Value Architect certificate in PDF format.

Training program

The certification combines technical understanding of AI with a business perspective, risk assessment, and cross-functional facilitation. These topics are the focus:

  • The role of the AI Value Architect as a bridge between leadership, technology, and users
  • The AI-Native Solution Lifecycle, consisting of the Sense, Discover, Design, and Deliver phases
  • The "Audit, Activate, Optimize, Centralize" framework for unlocking untapped AI potential
  • Assessment of technical and economic considerations, such as RAG versus fine-tuning
  • Early assessment of feasibility and risks
  • Preparing technical findings as a basis for management decision-making
  • Transitioning AI prototypes into scalable, sustainable solutions

Who will benefit?

This certification is designed for experienced professionals working in company-wide transformation initiatives who want to manage AI projects in a more results-oriented manner:

  • Release Train Engineers and SAFe Practice Consultants
  • System Architects
  • Product Manager and Product Owner
