Activate North Carolina is a public awareness initiative by AIA North Carolina. Active funds events designed to be a call to action for those interested in activating their communities through design and architecture to make a difference in shaping the world around them.
 
Each year, local sections in North Carolina are invited to apply for grants to fund public programs and activities in the community. Successful events from the past include Barkitecture, Canstruction, Parking Day, and public film viewings. 
 
We invite anyone interested to join us for a brainstorming meeting to put out some ideas and ways to keep AIA Asheville active in our community.
