Dear Member,

IStructE UAE Regional Group is arranging the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be on 29 October. The meeting will be held online (MS TEAMS),and requires registration to attend to obtain a link to join.  

For the Regional Group Committee Elections which will take place during the AGM, herewith is the Notice to Voting Members inviting nominations for candidates for election. The proposed 2027 committee, in absence of additional nominations is as follows:

Vice-Chairman: Sajith Kumar

Speakers

Ulrich worked for 5 years as a civil engineer in Vienna before he changed to the Institute of Constructive Engineering to do his PhD on elastomeric bearings. He has over 15 years of experience in the design and development of elastomeric bearings for vibration and seismic isolation. For 9 years he has been the leading expert on bearings for vibration isolation of buildings at Getzner Werkstoffe.
