Professional coaching – Learn the basics of Professional Coaching from ICF Certified Coaches. Competencies you will start to build include: Active Listening, Powerful Questions, Emotional Intelligence, Presence and Clean Feedback.
Mentoring – When someone you are working with runs out of ideas what do we do? Learn the core skills of a good mentor and how to support people through the difficult transition to a new way of working and avoid falling into consulting.
Serving the team – We will look at the basics of team coaching from ORSC trained trainers before moving on to looking at the importance of a solid team launch, coaching plan, impediment removal and conflict.
Facilitate learning – Using Training from the BACK of the Room! techniques we will explore adult learning techniques culminating in creating a new learning experience you will be able to use.
The remote course will take place over seven sessions, each session takes 3.5 hours (from 11:30am - 03:00pm EDT).
Part 1 - 18th May to 21st May July (4 Sessions)
Part 2 - 28th May to 29th of May (3 Sessions)
Target Audience
Agile team leaders or aspiring team leaders with a passion for servant leadership and a desire to learn and practice coaching in service of Agile teams. Relevant roles include Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Iteration Managers, Agile Coaches and Aspiring Coaches, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Analysts, and anyone with the desire to harness the power of coaching.
Certifications
This ICP-ACC course is accredited by the ICAgile (International Consortium for Agile) as fulfilling all Learning Objectives of Agile Coaching in the Agile Coaching track.

To earn an ICAgile certification, you must successfully complete an ICAgile-accredited class. During the class, you will be required to demonstrate your knowledge, skills and agile mindset. ICAgile does not administer or require a specific exam to become certified. Students who successfully complete a course for certification will receive an invitation from us to view their transcript and to claim their certification on ICAgile.com.

Prerequisites
There are no conditional pre-requisites for this training program, it is advised that participants have a good working knowledge of Agile to build on. We also recommend that you have Agile work experience in a lead role, such as Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Project Manager, Product Owner, etc.
Although it is not a formal prerequisite, we have found that this certification is best pursued after Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF).
