RONNIE KROWNE- sings "SONGS OF MY LIFE"

A Fun-Filled Inspirational Cabaret Afternoon

Ronnie Krowne-
Ronnie has been performing cabaret shows for 25 years. He grew up in Springfield, NJ and began singing with 3 other teenagers and the cantor in his synagogue, but never in more "traditional "venues. In "real life: he owned & operated Ronald J Krowne Photography for over 50 years, starting when he was a teenager. He attended C.W. Post Center and earned both a BS in Psychology and a MS in Community Psychological Counseling. He practiced for several years in the mental health community, while also being a photographer.

He began his "musical training" under the tutelage and mentorship of Beth Goodrich about 25 years ago. He has performed at countless senior centers, assisted living facilities and nursing homes, as well as participating in his temple choir and interfaith choir at Temple Beth El, as he still does.

He chuckles at the irony that he doesn't read music! (Joining famous performers such as Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder) He hears a piece and practices it until he "gets it".

His several shows at NYC's Don't Tell Mama have been hits, & he recently sang at the Ethical Culture Society of Manhattan. He also performs at the semiannual Great Neck Adult Ed concerts.

His shows are filled with warmth, and musical pieces of hope & inspiration- from his past, drawing on the Great American Songbook.

He hopes you will take some inspiration from something you might hear today!

He draws his inspiration from the love of his dear parents, Freda and Nat, who inspired him to follow his dreams and live life to the fullest. He just knows that they are here today, in spirit, kvelling!
