Laura Leigh Carroll

"Lulu's Back in Town!" (with a Suitcase full of Songs!)

Laura Leigh Carroll was born and raised in Port Washington. She is the daughter of actor and singer Bob Carroll who sang with the Dorsey Brothers and played “Tevye” in Fiddler on the Roof.

Ms. Carroll began her “artistic” career directing and performing in musical theatre regionally. She also raised 3 teenage boys, became and R.N and married the very popular and local Physician, Dr. Scott Rex.

As her kids got older, she began to work professionally landing the lead as “God” in the Off-Broadway comic farce “God of Marz”. Her reviews were as funny as her performance:

“.....the Jeff Goldblum-esque God (Laura Leigh Carroll) ……should be given her own play. "

Laura Leigh works in theatre, television and commercials. She can be seen on Disney’s “Pixar on Real Life” and just completed a run as “Genie Klein” in “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical”.

Laura Leigh’s first love has always been music, and she is thrilled to bring some of her favorites to the Landmark with her Jazz Trio.
