Learn about programs and resources available statewide to assist more Floridians purchase a home. The focus of this course is on the Florida Housing Single Family Bond Program that provides affordable home financing alternatives through competitive rate first mortgages, coupled with downpayment and closing costs assistance to qualified famlies throughout the State of Florida.

Course objectives include:

  • Learn about homeownership programs offered through the Florida Housing Finance Corp. (FHFC), including downpayment and closing costs assistance programs and the Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) program.
  • Learn about the State Housing Initiative Program (SHIP) and other homeownershi programs throughout the State of Florida.
  • Understand why it is important for Realtors to support affordable housing.
  • State-approved 3-hour continuing education (CE) course.

IMPORTANT: For real estate CE credits, your license number is required and punctuality and attendance are mandatory.
