This two-day seminar is a unique program that will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct, supervise and manage internal affairs work in a manner that reflects organizational core values and creates high levels of public and officer trust in its fairness and legitimacy.

It covers both ordinary administrative matters and extraordinary matters like use of force and critical incident investigation, including investigation of officer-involved shootings.  Focus is on thorough and highly competent complaint handling and internal investigation.  There is also discussion of the role of regular supervisors in the internal affairs and discipline as well as the proper structure of disciplinary systems.  This seminar explains a variety of enhanced leadership initiatives, including focused policy and strengthened systems, to achieve both proactive and reactive "disciplinary" goals.
