Description: This session will provide basic information about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Understand when you should engage HR for a potential accommodation. Learn how the interactive process works, and your role as the supervisor. There will be time available to answer questions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Clarify definitions and provide an overview of the components of ADA
  • Explain the process surrounding ADA accommodations and discuss your role in the process
  • List available resources and discuss how HR can support you and your employee
